Charity Regulation Up in the Air
Boardmatch hosted the first CEO and Chairs lunch of the national federations of the voluntary sector in Ireland. Held in the Aviva Stadium in January 2011, the event brought together 50 federations representing 25,000 organisation. Supported by BHP Insurance Brokers.
Strategic Boards at Work
Boardmatch Ireland supports the development of the community and voluntary sector by strengthening boards and management committees. Boardmatch Ireland provides a web-based matching service where people can register their interest in volunteering on not-for-profit boards.
CEO and Chair Training in the Aviva
Boardmatch ran a training event in June 2011 for CEO’s and Chairs in conjunction with Governance magazine. Led by Dorothy Dalton the event looked at the relationship between the two figures in any charity organisation. For further information of other events contact the office.

Boardmatch Ireland is the only corporate governance charity in Ireland, we strive for the improvement of corporate governance in the not for profit sector in Ireland. As such we deal with boards of organisations across the country. We are often requested to provide services that we don’t have the capacity to deliver at present. We therefore make referals to other more suitably qualified organisations or consultancies
Candidate Matching
Boardmatch Ireland aims to support the development of the not-for-profit sector by strengthening boards. We do this primarily through our free web-based matching service, which matches people willing to volunteer their skills at a board level, with organisations needing additional skills on their boards.
